IMPACT Exhibition Management has given the green light for live audiences to return to the IMPACT Arena in Bangkok.
The venue saw Thai music group The Gentlemen play a show on 31 October and 1 November. It will also be welcoming Green Day on 21 March 2021.
The venue has a number of conferences and exhibitions lined up in the coming weeks, including the Thailand International Motor Expo from 2-13 December. It is also staging a food festival from 9-13 December.
Large social gatherings are now being reintroduced in Thailand as the Department of Disease Control begins to relax Covid restrictions.
The venue is currently being sanitised using a mobile Germ Saber UVC Sterilizer. It is making use of social distancing and managing visitor density alongside other hygiene measures. Maximum seating capacity at the venue has dropped from 14,000 to 6,800 with distancing.
