ADITUS showing a lead for integrating digital certificates into registration

International ticketing provider ADITUS is claiming to be the first European provider to implement online validation of German and EU vaccination certificates for event attendees, who can then register and be admitted via the ADITUS G³ Fast Lane.

While no definitive conditions have been formulated for the relaunch of live trade show operations across Europe, health status certifications are likely to be an essential part of any implementation and ADITUS says its G³ Fast Lane provides organisers with a tool to continue their plans to resume live operations with confidence.

The standardisation of the required credentials is progressing and digital vaccination credentials are already available at a German and European level (digital vaccination certificate, EU Green Pass), while digital PCR/antigen test credentials have been around for some time.

How the ADITUS G³ Fast Lane works

Organisers face the challenge of integrating the acquisition of health certificates into trade show operations in a way that does not interfere with on-site admission. The ADITUS G³ Fast Lane provides several options to meet this goal. If attendees possess a valid digital certificate, they can present it during the online registration process. Alternatively, they can upload their credentials later through the visitor portal. The visitor portal instantly checks uploaded certificates for validity and verifies their identity, immediately activating the ticket if this is successful.

As an alternative to online verification, participants can also present their certificate on site at terminals in the trade show's entrance area which can scan digital certificates. Alternatively, on-site personnel can also capture credentials via a wireless handheld scanner.

The ADITUS G³ Fast Lane will be implemented at the IIA Mobility 2021 on 7-12 September in Munich, Germany, and will assist Covid safety protocols.
