The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) signed a memorandum of understanding with ASAE - the American Society of Association Executives - at IMEX America.
During a press conference, TCEB provided an update on its current activities and the state of the Thai MICE market.
Ms Nichapa Yoswee, Senior Vice President of Business Development at TCEB, then spoke about why TCEB and ASAE had decided to partner to bring ASAE's 2020 conference to Bangkok.
The ASAE leadership forum Asia Pacific 2020 will come to Bangkok from 11-13 October 2020.
Susan Robertson, Interim CEO of ASEA, joined Mrs Yoswee on stage to sign the memorandum, and commented: "Thailand shares a commitment to associations, just as we do, which made the decision to move our conference there very easy for us."
