Major e-sports event IEM Katowice is taking place in Katowice Poland on 3 March.
As part of Rotterdam Games Week, venue Rotterdam Ahoy is hosting a pop-up viewing event, which will be showing the match on big screens at the Ahoy Arena.
Gamers can 'meet & beat the pro' competitor Melania Mylioti, and ask CS:GO expert and shoutcaster Jerre 'Dynz’ van den Berg about the game and final.
Attendees can take Mylioti on in 1v1 matches to win themselves either a keyboard, mouse or headset provided by partner Trust International.
The viewing party will use seats on part of the first ring of the Ahoy Arena, behind which a gamers area will be created for the event.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive is the game for the main tournament of DreamHack Rotterdam later on in October this year, during the new Rotterdam Games Week, with prize money of USD$100,000 up for grabs.
Erika Bronkhorst, manager of events at Rotterdam Ahoy, said: "In order to get to know the CS:GO fan and introduce them to the venue, we have decided to organise an easy accessible pre-event.
"We will put up big screens at the Ahoy Arena and create the opportunity to watch and enjoy the game together with other gamers. During the live stream people can discuss tactics and ask our own Rotterdam pro Melania all and even play against her.
"Our partner Trust International will provided game set ups and prices to make the evening extra special. We are looking forward to have a fun evening.”
