After successfully introducing the format in China, NürnbergMesse is now also adding “vocational training” to the content of selected trade fairs in India, in partnership with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (AHK).
The Hanns Seidel Foundation has had a presence in China for decades, and has a well-established network in the ‘vocational training’ arena. At the same time, NürnbergMesse in China organises an innovative range of trade fairs whose content also offers points of reference to the issue of skilled personnel.
Consequently, the Hanns Seidel Foundation and NürnbergMesse have been cooperating in China on the “dual system of vocational training” since March 2018. These synergies, which benefit trade visitors in particular, are now also going to be facilitated at selected NürnbergMesse events in India.
For Peter Ottmann, CEO of NürnbergMesse Group, this gives the successful events added value, especially for visitors: “The German vocational training system deservedly enjoys an excellent reputation at home and internationally. We are very pleased that following China, our trade fairs in India will now also be expanding their existing formats to include relevant ‘vocational training’ content.
“We are doing this because apart from the exhibited products as such, solutions to the issue of ‘skilled workers’ offer genuine added value to an event. The AHK in India is an important partner for us and we are already looking forward to the next steps we will be taking together.”
