UK prime minister Theresa May and ISS astronaut Tim Peake were present at the first day of the 2018 Farnborough Air Show for its opening ceremony.
They were joined by leading figures from the events industry, including Michael Hirst OBE (BVEP), Juliet Price (HBAA), Dr. James Morgan (University of Westminster), Max Fellows (MCI Experience), Polina Perry (VisitBritain) and Samme Allen (Sequoia Event Solutions).
The group had a tour of the brand new exhibition and conference centre before enjoying full hospitality and an exciting air display.
They were joined by Exhibition News editor Nicola Macdonald and Conference News editor Martin Fullard.
