RAI Amsterdam is hosting a ‘hackathon’ for the events industry on 31 October 2018.
The event will bring together experts, scientists, students, and professionals, and get them collaborating to find creative solutions to common problems within the sector.
RAI Amsterdam is accepting registrations for anyone who would like to participate. Send an email to welcome@rai.nl stating your position in the industry before 1 September, and you will be considered for entry into the event.
The hackathon will see participants split into four teams, each with their own challenge. The winning team will receive €2,500 to donate to a charity of their choice.
RAI are accepting suggestions for challenges from anyone within in the industry, which can be emailed to the above address with ‘Event Industry Hackathon’ in the subject line.
Maurits van der Sluis, COO of RAI Amsterdam, said: “The Event Industry Hackathon is designed to encourage people to think outside the box and take this fine industry to a higher level.
“The solutions will be shared and returned to the event sector, underlining the RAI’s role as a platform for knowledge, contacts and innovation.”
The event will provide food and drink from RAI’s Basement Chefs, as well as inspirational speakers and entertainment. It will also give a wide range of people within the events sector a chance to network.
