To celebrate Global Exhibitions Day, which was held last week on 6 June, the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) adjusted the lighting of its roof sun-wells to reflect the name of the event (GED18).
“On this day, DECC celebrates the trade fairs and exhibitions industry to highlight the power of the industry, and the diverse career opportunities it creates,” said Jose Vicente, CEO of DECC.
Worldwide, 260 million visitors and 4.4 million exhibitors generating US$114bn in annual revenues; GED highlights the positive impact of exhibitions on jobs, business, innovation and local investment.
