Brussels-based events organiser Artexis Easyfairs has acquired Dutch organiser Evenementenhal, increasing its events portfolio and venues.

Evenementenhal was jointly owned by H2 Equity Partners Fund, ABN Amro Participaties and two minority shareholders.

Eric Everard, founder and CEO of Artexis Easyfairs said: “Evenementenhal is a perfect fit with our existing business for two main reasons. Firstly, Evenementenhal is one of the leading Dutch event companies and Artexis Easyfairs already has a strong presence and excellent reputation in the Benelux. Secondly, Evenementenhal’s events are based on a highly successful all-in concept.”

“The acquisition takes us to a new level, which will further increase our market visibility as one of the world’s leading companies in the exhibitions, meetings and events industry.”

“This is a great match and I am looking forward to working with Eric’s team to grow our events and exhibition halls business,” added Angelique Klar, MD of Evenementenhal.
