Automechanika Shanghai 2015 will open with a new exhibition venue, providing extra space for the entire automotive industry chain.
The Shanghai International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts, Equipment and Service Suppliers will take place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Puxi, Shanghai from 2-5 December 2015.
The new, enlarged venue is in response to Automechanika Shanghai outgrowing its previous exhibition space in Frankfurt.
Now occupying 280,000sqm, the event has grown in size by 27 per cent taking up 11 halls.
The total number of exhibitors stands at 5,395, a 10 per cent increase from last year’s show, with 39 countries and regions represented. This includes five new countries – Ecuador, Finland, Israel, Liechtenstein and Morocco – and 34 returning countries and regions – Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, USA and Vietnam.
