Key speakers announced for EEAA 2010 Annual Conference

AUSTRALIA – The Regional Manager for UFI Asia (Global Exhibition Association), Mark Cochrane and the author of Futuretainment and CEO of innovation research agency, Tomorrow, Mike Walsh, are to be key speakers for the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) 2010 conference.

Due to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 29-30 November, the conference, entitled Eye on Your Target, will delve into three core streams: marketing, sales and operations. Nine sessions will focus on how to bring new value to businesses and learning from parallel industries by covering topics as varied as digital media, continuous improvement and retail.

Cochrane will outline what is happening in the exhibition industry around the region and Walsh is discussing the potential business effects of future technologies.

EEAA President, Matthew Pearce, said its ‘Eye on Your Target’ conference theme reflects the industry’s natural resilience and drive to achieve targets after weathering the economic downturn.

“The programme will also include expert social media marketers, sales training and some challenging thinking to constantly improve our operational endeavours,” he said.

The EEAA is a not-for-profit association for the exhibition and event industry, representing organisers, venues and suppliers.
