ARGENTINA – South America continues to demonstrate its growth in the pharmaceutical industries as UBM Live’s CPhl South America pharma event reported record visitor numbers.
The event, which took place from 17 to 19 August 2010 at La Rural Hall Ocre in Buenos Aires, drew 2,356 visitors. According to organiser UBM Live, this is an increase of 17 per cent on 2009.
“South America is becoming increasingly important to the pharmaceutical industry,” said UBM Live’s group director for Pharma, Eliane van Doom. “As a rapidly emerging market, we expect our annual events will continue to grow in line with market evolution.”
Next year’s events will take place from 24 to 26 August at the Transamerica Expo Centre, Sao Paolo, Brazil.
