ADIHEX 2010 increases floor space in new ADNEC hall

UAE - The organiser of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), the Emirates Falconers’ Club (EFC), has increased the floor space for its 2010 show by adding a new hall to its seven hall floor plan.

Now in its eighth year, ADIHEX 2010 will encompass nearly 12,300sqm at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), making it the largest edition in terms of floor space. EFC says it expects over 100,000 visitors to attend this year’s show.

Due to take place from 22 - 25 September, the event is being held under the patronage of the chairman of the EFC, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with support from Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH).

“The steady growth of ADIHEX is reflected in the sales figures, and the bulk of key players in the industry returning with bigger exhibition stands have reported an increase in their sales exceeding 50 per cent from last year’s edition alone,” says event director and director of communication at ADACH, Abdullah Al Qubaisi. “Over 75 percent of exhibitors from the 2009 edition have rebooked for this year’s event.”

The first-ever World Arabian Horse Racing Conference in Abu Dhabi will be held alongside ADIHEX 2010. The three-day event brings together experts, researchers and breeders involved with purebred Arabian horse racing from over 20 countries.
