UK - Reed Exhibitions has partnered with Swan Events to bid for new European gaming exhibition G2E Europe, in direct competition with Clarion’s ICE at Earls Court.
According to Intergame Magazine, the imminent demolition of Earls Court has been seen as an opportunity to launch a European edition of G2E, a brand co-owned by Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association (AGA).
Reed already manages the Las Vegas G2E show on behalf of AGA.
MD of Swan Events, Karen Cooke, is a former Clarion executive. Cooke manages the European Amusement and Gaming Expo, which takes place at London Excel at the same time as ICE at Earls Court.
