CANADA – The Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) has signed a partnership contract with Suntec International in Singapore.
Under the agreement, Suntec International, the international business arm of the Suntec Singapore exhibition venue, becomes the exclusive sales and marketing representative in drawing more meetings and events from Asia to Vancouver.
As well as pitching the Canadian city as a destination to potential clients, the partnership provides a platform for services including in-depth research, feasibility studies, recommendations and formulated sales and marketing strategies.
“This representation agreement is one of Vancouver Convention Centre’s strategies to expand its global footprint and to tap into new areas of potential growth, particularly in Asia,” says Claire Smith, VP of sales and marketing for VCC. “The key factor in choosing Suntec International is its pioneering experience and proven business model,” she continued, referring to the company’s venue Suntec Singapore.
