G'Day UK changes to Australialive to serve Europe

UK - Previously known as G’day UK, the month-long series of events aimed at “celebrating Australian businesses, culture, food and wine” in the UK is changing its name to Australialive in order to be used also in a wider programme of activities across Europe.

Originally, focusing on building trading links between Australia and the UK, the Australialive CEO Forum will take place on 14 September in London at Altitude 360 at Millbank Tower and will showcase investment opportunities Down Under, with a focus on natural resources and financial services.

“Our goal is to strengthen further our trading ties with the UK and encourage businesses and consumers to discover more about Australia,” says the chairman of Australialive, Phillip Aiken.

A new website www.australialive.org has launched giving more information on the opportunities for doing business with or visiting Australia as well details on forthcoming events.

Australialive is supported by the Australian State Governments, Qantas airline, the national tourism body Tourism Australia and the Australian Trade Commission, Australian Business and the Australian High Commission in the UK.
