BPA wins contract to give Turkey first-ever audited events

TURKEY - Four major trade shows in Istanbul will become the first exhibitions in Turkey to be audited to internationally recognised standards, after the organisers appointed auditing company BPA Worldwide to verify attendance at each.

All the exhibitions are organised by EUF- International Trade Fairs and will take place at the CNR Expo Centre across September and October.

"This is a significant development for the exhibition industry in the region," says BPA MD for EMEA, Stuart Wilkinson. "The exhibition market is a sector where some organisers can resort to less than transparent measures to promote their shows. For this reason, we commend these events for their commitment to transparency and to best practice,"

BPA auditors will be auditing food show Gida, promotional items event Promoturk, packaging and food processing exhibition IPACK Turkey and metalwork technology show TATEF 2010.
