Motorexpo expands to four global cities

WORLD - The organiser of the 14th Canary Wharf London Motorexpo and the 2nd annual World Financial Center New York Motorexpo is set to launch its free-entry motor show format in Los Angeles this year and Toronto in 2011.

The Aspect Partnership’s Motorexpo shows display the latest vehicles from prestige brands and other large car manufacturers.

More than 25 brands exhibited at the 2009 London show with 16 cars making their UK debut, according to the organiser. The number is set to double this year, according to the organiser, which will offer test drives for visitors as well as a new Le Mans vintage exhibition and Motor Sport Zone.

“The Motorexpo is an unusual show in many ways, however, the greatest single difference between our events compared to more traditional motor shows is that we offer a free to visit, automotive research opportunity to a business audience for whom time is a very precious commodity,” says Motorexpo MD and president, Graeme Carver in a statement.

“The Motorexpo is a proven format and in 2010 our planned expansion will continue when we deliver our first Motorexpo to our new Los Angeles audience, and we already have confirmation for the Toronto Motorexpo, which is set to be unveiled in 2011.

“We look forward to welcoming an estimated combined audience of over 750,000 business professionals to the Motorexpo in the next 12 months,” he adds.

Los Angeles is to be held in May, London in early June, and New York in September, with the Toronto Motorexpo confirmed for mid-2011.
