UK - Exhibitions and conferences have begun to pick up, according to British events organiser Informa.
In an interim management statement, the company said it expects to maintain its 2009 operating margins this year.
“We have run fewer events over the past three months than we did over the comparable period in 2009, but are no longer further reducing output,” the company said in their statement.
“Management expectations for the full year remain in line,” it added.
Elsewhere in its portfolio, subscription renewals for the company’s academic information journals have remained constant with previous years, while its financial information products are still suffering from the impact of last year’s financial crisis.
