SWEDEN - The Swedish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Goteborg is hosting a new event for the growing number of tourists with mobile accommodation.
Caravan and Holiday Meet, to be held from 29 April to 1 May 2011, will focus on destinations, activities and future camping trends.
Exhibitors will include motor homes and caravans, tow cars, rental companies, holiday destinations and tourist and Swedish and European resort facilities. However, the venue’s business manager Johan Lundberg says the primary goal of the exhibition is to promote the virtues of a life lived in a mobile home.
“We are targeting a broad group of consumers who are interested in finding out more about mobile accommodation, no matter whether they already have it or are considering buying a motorhome or caravan,” he says.
The event will also occupy space at the neighbouring Liseberg Amusement Park.
