UAE - Reed Travel Exhibitions has appointed a new regional sales manager for the UAE and Middle East.
Shinu Pillai will market the company’s meetings and incentives portfolio based in Dubai. The portfolio of shows includes GIBTM in Abu Dhabi, EIBTM in Barcelona, CIBTM in Beijing, AIBTM in Baltimore and AIME in Melbourne.
Pillai will focus on GIBTM, the exhibition dedicated to the meetings, incentive events and business travel industry in the Gulf and wider Middle East region.
Exhibition director for GIBTM, Graeme Barnett, says: “Shinu will be a great addition to our specialist meetings industry team, bringing his strong sales and marketing experience and knowledge of the industry in the region acquired over many years.”
Based in the UAE since 1996, Pillai has nine years of exhibition industry experience.
This year’s GIBTM takes place from 29 to 31 March at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
