The UK’s Association of Event Venues (AEV) has announced Ben Hunt-Davis (pictured), co-author, Will It Make The Boat Go Faster? as keynote speaker for its annual conference at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, London, 17 November 2023.
Drawing from his experience as an Olympic Gold medallist at the Sydney Olympics and his success as a best-selling co-author and performance coach, Hunt-Davis will open the conference emphasising the importance of adaptability and readiness for the future.
Rachel Parker, director, AEV, commented: “We are so excited for Ben to share his knowledge and to hear how he and his team turned around their approach to success. His experience ties in perfectly with our theme and our delegates will certainly take home some insightful tips on ensuring they are ‘Fit for the future’.”
The programme includes panel sessions addressing the road map to net zero and the level of fitness and security of venues. Further sessions will provide an update on the political landscape in addition to a case study on hosting the Eurovision Song Contest, closing with a debate on AI and GenZ led by the conference host, Shonali Devereaux.
Early bird tickets are available until 21 October and include entry to the conference icebreaker evening on 16 November at the Old Queen Street Cafe, where delegates can socialise and network for the evening prior to the conference.
