Messe Frankfurt Middle East has appointed Ted Bloom (pictured) as its new chief operating officer.
Bloom has more than 25 years in the exhibition industry, most recently as director of DXB Live at Dubai World Trade Centre, and brings a wealth of international experience. He has been based here in the region since 2015 and said: “I’m excited to join a talented team, I’m relishing the opportunity to support and develop new initiatives across all of the shows”.
Messe Frankfurt Middle East CEO Simon Mellor commented: “Having watched and worked with Ted for over a decade indirectly, I'm well aware of his personal attributes, skills and recognise what he has achieved locally. I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with him as our COO. Messe Frankfurt Middle East GmbH has achieved a great deal over the past 25 years in the region, I know Ted will play an integral part in developing our events and culture to ensure our customers enjoy sustainable success for many years to come".
