Step Connect², independent organisers of the Education Buildings Ireland exhibition, has sold out its show nine months before the event, for the built environment, is due to take place.
This is the second edition of the biennial event and sees a 50% increase in sold exhibition space from 2022. The event, held in partnership with the Government of Ireland, will take place 6-7 November at the RDS Dublin venue. The conference part of the show is CPD accredited.
Education Buildings Ireland focuses on the funding, design, construction, management and maintenance of primary education, post primary education, further education and training & higher education learning environments.
James Lee, CEO and co-founder of Step Connect², said: “This is a great achievement by the team and shows the positive signs of recovery since the global pandemic. The need and desire for people to connect face-to-face has never been stronger, and we’ve seen across all of our events huge YOY uplifts in terms of exhibition and sponsorship sales and most importantly attendance.”
Hubert Loftus, assistant secretary general with responsibility for the Building and Planning Unit, Department of Education in Ireland said the inaugural edition of the show had "attracted a lot of very positive feedback and successfully facilitated the sharing of experiences and learnings, and has laid the foundation for ongoing networking and collaboration. I look forward to welcoming everyone to the next conference and exhibition on the 6-7 November 2024 at the RDS Dublin.”
