International event organiser Easyfairs and Milan-based exhibition organiser QUiCKFairs have announced a new partnership that sees Easyfairs augment its portfolio with Coiltech, the coil winding trade fairs in Italy and Germany.
QUiCKFairs organises two annual events, Coiltech Italia and Coiltech Deutschland, both specialising in materials and machinery for the design, manufacture, maintenance and repair of electric motors, generators, transformers, and windings. In 2023, the events attracted 473 exhibitors from 31 nations and 5,314 visitors from 60 countries in Augsburg, Germany and Pordenone, Italy.
“The partnership with QUiCKFairs is an exciting development for Easyfairs; the Coiltech events serve niche communities making them a perfect fit for our business. We look forward to working closely with Sebastian Kuester and his team on further growing these thriving events. We are confident they will leverage the experience of Easyfairs with our pan-European network of industrial trade shows, our advanced technology platform, and the obvious synergies within the Easyfairs portfolio,” said Roland Brand, CEO of Easyfairs D-A–CH Region.
Founded in 2009, QUiCKFairs has pioneered a trade fair format that structurally reduces the effort required for exhibitors. The existing event team will continue to be responsible for future editions of both Coiltech Italia and Coiltech Deutschland. Sebastian Kuester, the founder and current managing partner of QUiCKFairs, will take on the role of CEO of the company as part of this partnership and will remain connected to it through an investment in Easyfairs.
“I am thrilled to join the Easyfairs family,” said Kuester. “My investment allows me to continue acting as an entrepreneur and join in the success of over 200 events. Becoming a part of a privately owned, globally operating event organiser ensures that the QUiCKFairs team will continue to work in an inspiring and supportive environment while joining the ranks of a Top 20 company. For Coiltech's exhibitors and visitors, this development primarily signifies long-term continuity, as the success stories of Easyfairs and QUiCKFairs are built upon the same principles.”
“It is impressive to see the commitment of this experienced team and to witness how it forged the leading Coil Winding exhibition, starting from scratch in 2010 in Italy and successfully establishing a thriving presence in Germany. I look forward to working closely with Sebastian and this community to deliver the best possible events for the industry,” Brand added.
