POWTECH 22 signals strong comeback for the meeting place for process engineering

Exhibitors and trade visitors were clearly pleased to have the opportunity in Germany, 27-29 September, to meet again in person, post-Covid, in the halls of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre for POWTECH, Europe's leading trade fair for powders and bulk solids.

Around 9,000 trade visitors, increasingly coming from abroad (43%), came to the show and took advantage of synergies of this year's FACHPACK and POWTECH trade show combo. Organisers said nearly a quarter of FACHPACK visitors were also interested in what POWTECH had to offer.

From 27 to 29 September, POWTECH offered 479 exhibitors from 22 countries a knowledge programme involving 64 speakers who offered solutions to the challenges facing the industry. POWTECH showcased live demonstrations, guided tours and special displays.

“We are proud of the high-quality networking and knowledge platform we have created with POWTECH,” said Heike Slotta, executive director for exhibitions at NürnbergMesse. “The fact that the processing experts are returning after the long break and in the current difficult times clearly shows that the experts in the sector appreciate and need personal exchanges – now more than ever.” An independent survey institute also support this conclusion, with 97% of visitors polled saying they would like to visit POWTECH again next year.

Organisers say the exhibition combo of POWTECH and thus brought around 41,000 trade visitors to see a total of 1,633 exhibitors in twelve halls at NürnbergMesse.

The next POWTECH will be held in the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, 26-28 September 2023.
