Hong Kong-based global experience brand experience agency Pico has been helping to deliver Hong Kong’s territory-wide Covid-19 Vaccination Programme.
The roll out started in late February and Pico was appointed to deliver 23 Community Vaccination Centres. Work included vaccination booths and furniture. The centres have now begun phasing into operation.
On 6 March three centres will be added to the five already in operation in Hong Kong. The three new vaccination centres at Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre, Osman Ramju Sadick Memorial Sports Centre and Yau Oi Sports Centre will run for 56 days to provide two doses of the Sinovac vaccine for each participant.
“As we are operating the centres, we will closely monitor the situation, assess the demand and make necessary adjustments, just like we recently decided to add three additional community vaccination centres for about two months for the Sinovac vaccine,” said secretary for the Civil Service Patrick Nip.
The first batch of the BioNTech vaccine arrived in Hong Kong on 27 February, he added.
