Exhibition organiser Informa Markets in India is set to return with the 8th edition of the PharmaLytica Expo, 1-3 June 2022. The global pharma trade show and conference will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The focus of the show will be to update companies on the innovations in India’s growing pharma industry which aims to become a $130bn industry by 2030.
The expo, with over 300 topline brands, will present the entire value-added chain in niche segments within the pharma industry.
Organisers anticipate over 7,000 trade visitors and 30 conference speakers.
Yogesh Mudras (pictured), managing director, Informa Markets, India, said: “We are delighted to bring back the 8th edition of the PharmaLytica Expo in its full offline format, bringing the entire ecosystem of the industry and stakeholders under one roof. This aligns with the PM’s vision to Ideate in India, Innovate in India, Make in India and Make for the World.”
He pointed out that the government of India had allocated Rs. 86,200 Crores (US$ 11.3bn) for the pharma sector in the annual budget for the year 2022-23.
The two-day conference will also deliberate on industry topics, challenges and opportunities towards digitalisation, strategies for maintaining a global supply chain in a constrained manner and transforming labs into smart technological labs. The conference will cover topics like API, machinery and manufacturing, lab and analytical, QR codes, supply chain, packaging and labelling, and sterilisation.
