Event industry veteran and former UFI managing director, Paul Woodward (pictured), is to become chairman of fast-growing Swiss-based event technology business, Konduko.
Woodward has been an advisor to Konduko since 2016 and more recently a member of its Board of Directors. He commented: “As the world of business events reopens, we are seeing a huge focus on the convergence of face-to-face and digital interactions. Konduko, with its concept of Intelligent Trade Shows, is in the right place at the right time to turn this idea into business for organisers and their clients. I am very pleased to be able to support the company’s outstanding management team in what is going to be a very busy few years of fast growth.”
Konduko founder and CEO Matt Harris said: “I am delighted that Paul will be stepping up to this role at what is a critical time for the company. We have been able to continue to develop our product and services through the tough period the events industry has endured over the past couple of years. Now, we’re seeing a very rapid development and appreciate the role of a strong Board to support management through the exciting challenges of this period of growth, as the industry returns to face-to-face events.”
Most recently Konduko has launched the Generation 4 series of its award-winning Intelligent Reader and is soon to launch a new digital platform that will bring in-person and digital events together.
