Raccoon launches European running expo

UK-based Raccoon Media Group will debut an invite-only show for the European running industry in Amsterdam in 2025.

The organiser of the UK’s National Running Show and the USA Boston Run Show will stage The International Running Expo (IRX), 4-5 November 2025, at RAI Amsterdam. It will target over 300 exhibitors and 6,000 delegates including retailers, buyers, athletes and influencers.

Attendees will assemble to preview innovations and technology and to share ideas. There will be opportunities to engage in active networking sessions, with morning runs in amazing locations hosted by key brands ready to test new kits, technology and nutrition.

Participating industry figureheads will include ‘ultramarathon man’ Dean Karnazes, Peloton queen, presenter and ultrarunner Susie Chan, and former fastest female marathon runner of all time Paula Radcliffe.

Event director Shirry Liram said: “We actively seek to be at the leading edge of fostering key collaborations and celebrating this exciting sport that has seen meteoric growth in recent years.

“Through our long-established relationships in the global running industry, we recognised the compelling and sought-after opportunity to provide a pioneering business-to-business event in Europe, solely focused on running. I’m thrilled that we have already received overwhelming positivity and interest from the international running community about IRX 2025.”

A launch party for IRX took place in the Dutch capital earlier this week (pictured) with some interactive trail and track sessions, followed by a relaxed drinks reception with buyers, brands and influencers.
