Germany-based OCTANORM-Vertriebs-GmbH, a supplier of exhibition system construction, has launched the industry's first AI-based booth designer, marking a significant development in exhibition design technology.
The new tool, the OCTANORM AI Booth Designer, leverages artificial intelligence to streamline and enhance the creation of exhibition booths. The innovation aims to make the design process faster, more efficient and cost-effective.
Developed in collaboration with Algebra_X, the AI Booth Designer is part of an ongoing research project aimed at integrating AI into the work of trade fair architects and designers.
The AI system enables rapid generation of multiple design concepts, significantly reducing the time required to develop exhibition booth layouts.
Users can generate designs in real-time, either as detailed 3D renderings or as sketches in colour or black and white.
“While some AI-generated designs might not be immediately feasible, they serve as a catalyst for discussion and innovation,” said Joachim Kopf, head of digital innovations at OCTANORM. “The tool encourages designers to explore creative solutions in collaboration with their clients.”
