Alexander Angus has been promoted to chief operating officer, Montgomery Group.
Angus has been with the family owned, global B2B exhibition business for 13 years. Until now, specialising in the African events, including launching both Montgomery East Africa and Montgomery West Africa and their subsequent events. Immediately prior to his new role he has been managing director, Africa for four years.
He lived in Nigeria for part of the time and has weathered two pandemics during his tenure – Ebola and Covid. He will now bring this wealth of international experience and vision to his new role as COO, reporting to Damion Angus, group managing director, Montgomery Group.
Montgomery Group, is the UK’s oldest independent events organiser and currently runs over 50 events in 15 countries.
Before Montgomery, Angus worked in business development for Brand Events on consumer-focused spectaculars.
