Global event organiser Hyve has announced the addition of the experienced business development pro, Rachel Wimberly, to its US team. She joins from Informa will lead M&A and be responsible for driving growth in the US.
The role of senior vice-president of corporate development for North America is a new one.
A Hyve statement said: “With our sights set on an ambitious growth programme for 2024, we’re delighted to welcome Rachel with her 15+ years of industry experience and track record in propelling growth and delivering value. Her extensive network and highly regarded reputation among the events industry will prove extremely valuable as we look to develop our portfolio of market-leading events.”
Wimberly added she was looking forward to collaborating with the team to identify new opportunities and drive value creation for Hyve. “It’s exciting to be working with such an inspiring leadership team with an ambitious strategy and I can’t wait to be a part of its growth,” she said.
