EXPO Ferroviaria 2023 will open on 3 October at Rho Fiera Milano, organised in collaboration with Trenord and out on the venue's Outdoor Area tracks, Italy's first hydrogen train will be presented. ALSTOM Ferroviaria and FNM designed and built the train for Ferrovie Nord Milano on the manufacturing site of Alstom in Italy. The train is based on the regional railway model of Coradia Stream.
Alstom will also showcase Traxx DC3, a latest generation high-power electric locomotive, that maximises energy efficiency and provides additional charge and traction capacity. Moreover, ELEN Ing. De Rossi will present at the show the newest electric locomotive, E-L0, an innovative green vehicle for the maintenance of railway lines.
EXPO Ferroviaria is a biennial international exhibition of railway technology, products and systems, and runs 3-5 October 2023 in Hall 9 at Rho Fiera Milano, with 270 exhibiting companies expected this year. The event includes an intense programme of conferences and exhibitors’ presentations and this year’s show also boasts new spaces dedicated to complementary technologies with the Aerospace Technology Hub and the Tunnelling Area.
