Virtual and hybrid event software platform Gther has announced the addition of two industry veterans to its leadership team.
Peter Jeavons (pictured right) has been appointed Gther CEO and Nick Rosier (left) joins as chief product and customer officer.
Jeavons has a career spanning more than 30 years in the technology industry, having most recently been senior independent director at electric services company VivoPower. He will lead the business globally. He told EW: "The gther business is already operating on a global basis, supporting customers in areas such as the US and Asian markets. The gther solution is being used currently by Bombardier and Pratt & Whitney at NBAA in Orlando and will be used by WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development) in Tokyo next week. I’m currently at MIPCOM in Cannes where a number of large media companies are using our solution. Our strong focus on regulatory compliance has allowed us to be one of a small number of companies to have successfully run virtual/hybrid events in China.
"The gther platform is designed to serve the ‘end-to-end’ needs of event attendees and organisers, delivering meaningful experiences. We will be announcing new components of the gther platform shortly.
"The US is a strategically important market for the gther business and a particular area of focus for growth.
"We will drive the growth of the gther business through strategic partnerships such as the one with 2Heads and through our own direct engagements with customers in key sectors such as Aerospace/Defence, Media and Financial Services."
Rosier said: “With gther, we have created a ‘Swiss army knife’ of event experience solutions that always puts the user and the brand first. Our mantra is human connection, and our mission lies in providing tools to enable the world’s desire to sustainably connect.”
Gther delivers a range of event management capabilities powered by the first two products released to the market, VX and Sync.
