Kenes buys EXPOELEARNING

Global Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) Kenes, headquartered in Geneva and with representation in Spain, has acquired the EXPOELEARNING international congress and professional fair. The event has held 30 editions since 2002: 20 in Spain, the last seven in collaboration with IFEMA-Madrid. Another seven meetings were organised in Latin America and three more virtual.

EXPOELEARNING is a major event on e-learning in the Ibero-American market where 150,000 professionals from 45 countries have participated. It had 1,500 speakers at its International Congress, which each year marks the trends in the most avant-garde topics of online training.

The 20th edition took place last March at IFEMA-Madrid and addressed the topic ‘The metaverse applied to e-learning’.

IFEMA-Madrid will be the scene of the 21st edition, scheduled for 23-24 March, 2023, and held within the framework of Education Week.

Included in this operation is also EXPORRHH, a commercial area aimed at the world of HR 4.0.; Educaparty, an activity aimed at the growing edtech sector; and, Moodleparty, an event on the well-known open software platform.

The director of Kenes International Spain, Smara Iglesia stated: “Kenes has decided to purchase EXPOELEARNING to promote this event internationally. Next year we will continue to execute it at IFEMA-Madrid. We have another edition planned in Mexico, and more projects that we will be communicating. We have big plans to maximise this great event. With this purchase, Kenes is firmly committing to the global e-learning sector.”
