Organisers of Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo (TXCA & CLE) 2022 have taken the decision to move the show to Ningbo from Shanghai, where stricter Covid regulations have created uncertainties over holding large events in the city. Ningbo is in northeast Zhejiang province, south of Shanghai.
Originally scheduled to take place 11–13 August at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the 2022 fair will now be held 28–30 September at the Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Center.
Organisers stress that participants’ safety is the priority, and say the decision to move was prompted following discussions with stakeholders.
Ningbo is the second largest city in Zhejiang province and is close to Shanghai.
TXCA & CLE is the leading trade fair for the laundry and textile care industry in Asia, and provides business opportunities across the supply chain, including machinery, systems and accessories, chemicals and consumables, digital and intelligent solutions, energy saving and environmental protection technologies and leather care products.
With the 2021 edition postponed due to the pandemic, the textile care industry is eager to reconnect this year. Pushing back the fair to September gives fairgoers extra time to make arrangements to participate at the new venue.
TXCA & CLE is an annual event organised by the China Laundry Association and the China Light Industry Machinery Association, in conjunction with Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Unifair Exhibition Service Co Ltd.
