IFEMA Madrid served up industry networking, thought-provoking debates and showcased thousands of organic products from around the world, 8-9 June, at the Organic Food and Eco Living Iberia trade fair.
The rapidly growing international trade fair specialises in the organic and sustainable sector and this year welcomed 4,300 attendees and connected 350 exhibitors with senior professionals from Spain’s biggest supermarkets, shopping departments, pharmacies, distributors, and importers and exporters, as well as important buyers from around the globe, for the show's 2022 edition.
The two-day event operated a hosted buyer programme, with the support of Spain’s ICEX Trade and Investment agency, attracting buyers from a record 51 countries, with pre-arranged meetings set up between exhibitor and buyers.
Project director Susana Andrés Omella said: “Spain is recognised as the largest and one of the most innovative producers of organic in Europe, which is why Organic Food and Eco Living Iberia is the place where the whole sector come together to network and do business. The show-floor was full of energy, and we saw the return of live cooking demonstrations, a packed seminar programme, organic wine tasting, and the results of Eco & Organic Awards Iberia.”
The event also featured the Eco & Organic Awards Iberia Awards which recognise the standout brands and products of the year (voted by visitors at the show).
Organic Food and Eco Living Iberia will return to IFEMA Madrid on 7-8 June 2023. More information, visit: https://www.organicfoodiberia.com.
