Major venue MECC Maastricht is clearly excited to be welcoming the European exhibitions industry’s most prominent event, the UFI European Conference, 13-16 June 2023.
The event is set to be attended by 300 leading organisers of international trade fairs, venue executives and service companies active in the event industry.
UFI is the global association of the world’s leading organisers of trade fairs and exhibition venues represents 50,000 trade fair employees worldwide, all of whom work in the trade fair industry, and also works closely with 64 international, national and regional associations. 821 organisations in 86 countries are currently registered as members.
At UFI’s annual European Conference, trends in the event industry, case studies and international speakers are all on the agenda. Delegates are promised ample opportunity to network and explore the MECC Maastricht venue along with the city and region. Past annual conferences have been held in cities such as Poznan (Poland), Birmingham (UK) and Verona (IT).
So many aspects of the conference rely on the host city’s hospitality and MECC Maastricht is partnering on the project with Maastricht Convention Bureau, Spauwen Travel Group, Rebelle Maastricht, Houben Souren, and the Maastricht hotels co-operative (SAHOT) to make this event possible in Maastricht.
