Kuehne+Nagel has announced it has been appointed Official Logistics Provider for Multimodal 2022. The UK & Ireland’s largest freight transport, logistics and supply chain management event. It is run by Clarion Events and takes place 14–16 June 2022 at the NEC, Birmingham, UK.
As part of this partnership, Kuehne+Nagel will be the exclusive agent for onsite handling, including forklifting, storage, customs clearance, warehousing, and will assist Multimodal exhibitors with their international freight forwarding and end-to-end logistics requirements. Finding sustainable logistics solutions are an important part of the deal the partners say, as they work to reduce the show’s carbon footprint.

Clarion’s event director Robert Jervis added that he was “excited about the sustainable logistics options that Kuehne+Nagel were able to offer exhibitors”. This, he added, was part of a drive to reduce CO2 emissions used onsite.
Agility had been the incumbent supplier of Multimodal for a number of years. EW understands the appointment of Kuehne+Nagel is initially just for the 2022 show.
