CPhl Worldwide, the world’s largest pharma event, has been given the green light to go ahead in November in Milan, Italy.
The announcement comes after the Italian Government confirmed all conferences and exhibitions will be able to take place in the country again from 1 July.
The news was announced by Italian prime minister Mario Draghi and health minister Roberto Sperenza in a press conference.
The ministers highlighted the importance of events like CPhI Worldwide in driving the national economic recovery and internationalisation of vital industries.
CPhl is organised by Informa Markets, and will be making use of the Informa AllSecure protocol for health and safety. This ten-point plan was introduced last year, and contains measures such as distancing, deep cleaning and staggered entry times.
The event will take place at Fiera Milano, and registration is open in May. It will also feature a hybrid online element with a virtual networking platform.
