Working from home is the focus of the latest (15 October) International Confex webinar. The session, 4pm UK Time, is moderated by Heidi Williams, director at Remote360.com, and will look at the key challenges of not having teams working in one place and what steps the panel have taken in their own businesses to make things run more smoothly.
The topic is again prominent on the agenda with many governments recommending working from home where possible. Many event professional leaders have been left either deflated after the work they have put in to make offices Covid secure, worried about employee wellbeing, or uncertain of where boundaries lie in terms of performance tracking. This Confex session aims to tackle these questions and Williams will be joined on the panel by RD Whitney, CEO of 365 MEDIA and co-founder and director of the Virtual Events Institute; Brennan McEachran CEO and co-founder at Soapbox and Kellie Reynolds, head of event operations at Capital Events (part of the ADNEC Group).
The panel will discuss the best flexible arrangements, and the non-negotiables in working-from-home, how to manage and monitor your team, without smothering them, helpful technology, maintaining a personal connection and how to induct new starters.
The Confex session, Working from home – doing it better the second time around, takes place at 4pm UK Time, 15 October. Attendance is free. Register here to join.
