CloserStill Media has added Diabetes Professional Care Exhibition and Conference (DPC) to the company’s multi-award-winning portfolio of healthcare events.
CloserStill Media is partnering with Healthcare Publishing and Events, organiser of the exhibition and conference, to provide DPC with the clout needed to support its continued development.
Launched in 2015 and now in its 5th year, DPC is the UK’s leading show for healthcare professionals involved in the treatment and management of diabetes and plans to reach over 6,000 healthcare professionals from both primary and secondary care, and commissioner and clinical leads. The conference also provides free CPD accredited education for professionals.
DPC was launched by Maggie Meer, who also launched Cloud Expo Europe in 2009, which she sold to CloserStill in 2011. Over the past 8 years, Cloud Expo Europe has driven the growth of CloserStill’s cluster of tech shows both in the UK and abroad where it is recognised as the industry’s leading event for enterprise IT and B2B technology.

DPC 2019 will take place on 29-30 October at Olympia London, featuring a multi-stream conference of world-class practitioners and thought leaders sharing expertise and knowledge on diabetes care and best practice. Speakers this year include Prof. Partha Kar, National Specialty Advisor, Diabetes, NHS England, Prof Jonathan Valabhji Professor of Practice (Diabetes), Imperial College London, alongside speakers from Public Health England, The Royal College of GP’s, The Royal College of Nurses, The Association of British Clinical Diabetologists, NHS Improvement, Kidney Research, Heart UK, TREND-UK and many more.
