UFI, the global association of the exhibitions industry, has announced that Dr Andy Xie will speak at its upcoming Global Congress in Bangkok.
Over 500 delegates from the global exhibition industry are expected to attend the Congress, which will be hosted by the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau from 6-9 November. The theme this year will be ‘Platforms of Trust’.
Xie is currently the director of Rosetta Stone Advisors, and was voted one of the 50 most influential persons in finance by Bloomberg magazine.
Congress delegates will hear Andy present his views on the economy, forecast trends and developments, and provide takeaways on the impact these developments have for our industry.
UFI directly represents around 50,000 exhibition industry employees globally, and also works closely with 60 national and regional association members. More than 780 member organisations in 86 countries are presently signed up as members and over 1,000 international trade fairs bear the UFI approved label, a quality guarantee for visitors and exhibitors alike.
TCEB is promoting the government’s economic ‘Thailand 4.0’ policy and targeting 10 key industries to align with international interests and be future-ready, including in the exhibition sphere.
