Reed Exhibitions has announced it will be launching eight new US events in 2019 and 2020. In both the B2B and consumer space, the new events include collaborations with media brands and associations along with geoclones.
The new events are:
- Racquet & Paddle – a racquet and paddle sports industry event in Orlando, Florida
- Unbound Expo – an event for buyers for independent and chain bookshops in New York
- Outside Experience – a consumer event for people with an active lifestyle in Chicago
- ComplexCon – taking place in Chicago, a geoclone of a successful California event for the 'complex media' industry
- The Independent Home Improvement Show in Chicago
- Functional Fabric Fair Portland, building on a launch of the same brand in 2018 in New York
- Jewelers international Showcase, a trade event in Dan Diego
- Salon du Chocolat, a B2C event launching through a license agreement in New York
“Launch is an integral strategic pillar for business growth at RX,” commented Hervé Sedky, president of Reed Exhibitions, Americas. “We launched eight events in 2018 that will continue in 2019. To date, RX-US has approved eight additional launches for 2019 with further launches expected for 2020.”
