Messe Frankfurt and Dechema have agreed on a long-term extension of their partnership.
After the agreement, Achema, the forum and leading show for the process industries, will be taking place in Frankfurt until at least 2024.
The organiser, Dechema Ausstellung, and Messe Frankfurt have agreed to continue their successful collaboration for at least the next three events.

Achema is one of the biggest flagship events in the portfolio of technology trade fairs taking place in Frankfurt and is a key success factor for our Frankfurt base,” said Uwe Behm, member of the executive board of Messe Frankfurt.
Dr. Ing. Thomas Scheuring, executive director of Dechema Ausstellung added: “It has been about eighty years since Achema found a home in Frankfurt, and even in today's globalised world, we still have our roots here at the heart of Europe. Our international customers value Frankfurt's outstanding transportation connections with the rest of the world and its excellent infrastructure, both on the exhibition grounds and in the surrounding region. With Messe Frankfurt, we also have an extremely reliable partner.”
Achema has been taking place on Messe Frankfurt’s exhibition grounds since 1937. The trade fair is held once every three years. At last year's event, some 3,800 exhibitors from around the world presented their products, processes and services. 166,444 participants from around the globe visited Achema in 2015. The next Achema will take place from 11-15 June 2018.
