ASIA - Experia Events has further expanded its aerospace and defence event portfolio with the launch of World Airport Expo in 2015.
The inaugural show will be held at the Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore on 4-6 February 2015. Key features of the show will include a conference programme, a Countries-In-Focus series of forums and an experiential demo with an outdoor display of live showcases.
“Experia Events will draw from our strengths and experience in organising the Singapore Airshow to establish an integrated event that will chart the way forward for the airport industry,” said Experia Events MD Jimmy Lau.
“The inaugural World Airport Expo 2015 is well-positioned to be the strategic global platform, providing airport industry players a vital springboard to network, forge partnerships and do business in the thriving Asia-Pacific region.”
Experia Events expects to attract key stakeholders involved in the planning, design, construction and operation of airports, including airport operators, airport architectural and engineering consultancies, and information technology suppliers.
Lau said market reports have forecast that countries in Asia will invest more than US$400 billion in building new airport terminals and upgrading their existing facilities over the next decade. "The demand and growth potential in infrastructure and ancillary services offer immense opportunities for the global airport industry,” he added.
