GERMANY - Automation and robotics manufacturing exhibition Automatica 2012 will take place earlier than previously planned.
The exhibition will be held at the New Munich Trade Fair from 22 to 25 May instead of 12 to 14 June as originally scheduled. It will also expand to fill five halls rather than four as a result of enthusiastic pre-booking.
An increase in household expenditure and expected double-digit growth in the automation industry are two reasons for the show’s expansion, according to organiser Messe München.
The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry predicted moderate growth in the German exhibition industry in 2011.
