SOUTH KOREA - Daegu’s Exco exhibition centre aims to be Korea’s first green venue in time to host the 2011 Green Energy Expo, following an expansion that will double its floor space.
New energy-saving features include solar panels, a solar heating system and geothermal water heat pump.
The expansion is expected to be complete by the end of March, shortly before the event which will bring 400 exhibitors and fill 27,000sqm of floor space in early April.
