Caspian auto show finds home at new Baku expo centre

AZERBAIJAN - The 2011 edition of the Azerbaijan International Automotive Exhibition (AutoShow) will be held for the first time in the newly-built Baku Expo Center, occupying both the internal and outdoor space.

The event, one of the largest automotive exhibitions in the Caspian Sea region, will be held on 16 March, organised by Iteca Caspian, a part of UK organiser ITE Group.

The exhibition, which has held UFI Approved Status from global exhibition association UFI for five years, will also change its usual format this year, focusing more heavily on press exposure. To this end, it will open for the first time with an exclusive advance view of the exhibition by members of the press and invited VIP guests. The remaining three days of the exhibition will be open to all visitors.

AutoShow 2011 is expected to present more than 100 companies from 13 countries and regions, including Azerbaijan, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Canada, China, Malaysia, Russia, Lithuania, Turkey and Japan.

The show begins a season of international exhibitions and conferences organised by Iteca Caspian in Azerbaijan, all be held at the Baku Expo Center.
